The JC Leisure Solutions UK Limited Award in Practical Pool Plant Operations is perfect for those who are responsible for the management and day-to-day maintenance of swimming pools and spas, who have completed their Level 3 Award in Pool Plant Operations and are wanting to know how to apply that knowledge to their own plantroom. The course is site-specific and covers the practical element of pool water testing, pool water troubleshooting, backwashing, hand dosing, chemical usage and general maintenance tips and advice specific to your site. The course is designed to train individuals on how to carry out routine plant room operations whilst maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety on site as well as understanding the mechanics of running a plant room. This qualification follows the requirements and standards for pool plant operations set out in the Safety Training Awards’ Level 3 Pool Plant Operations course which subsequently follows the principles set out in the Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group’s (PWTAG) code of practice and publication ‘Swimming Pool Water’.
