The Type “X” humiSteam humidifiers by CAREL represent a premium solution in immersed electrode humidification technology. These units feature an integrated controller equipped with a graphic display and keypad for easy programming and operation management.

The following operational modes are available for selection at any time:

• ON/OFF control via external humidistat
• Proportional control based on external signal
• Proportional control with an additional maximum humidity limit probe installed in the duct
• Modulation based on set point and humidity probe readings
• Modulation based on set point, humidity probe readings, and a limit probe in the duct

The steam flow rate is continuously modulated from 20% to 100% of the maximum capacity (10% to 100% for the 90 kg/h and 130 kg/h models), except in ON/OFF mode, where steam production is either fully on or fully off. Type “X” controllers utilize the benefits of pCO technology, a family of programmable controllers from CAREL, ensuring:

• User-friendly interface with a graphic display that provides clear messages in multiple languages
• Operation based on daily and weekly schedules with adjustable set points
• Comprehensive diagnostics with text messages and an alarm log featuring time stamps
• Automatic drainage due to inactivity
