Our Asbestos Awareness Training covers all areas of asbestos awareness and is designed for anyone that may come in to contact with asbestos as part of their job. Traditionally this would be suitable for tradespeople such as: builders, plumbers, electricians, carpenters and building maintenance professionals. The course is broken down into 4 modules each of which has questions at the end to measure knowledge and understanding of the module content.

Modules

The four modules are:

  • Properties and Risks of Asbestos Exposure
  • Different Types of Asbestos,
  • Avoiding the Risks from Asbestos
  • An Outline of Asbestos Legislation

  Some of the key topics covered in the modules are:

  • Recognising asbestos
  • Where it is used
  • Minimising the risks of working with asbestos
  • Legislation for working with asbestos

  In order to move to the next module a pass rate of 100% is required and you will have 3 attempts at each set of questions in order to achieve the pass rate. You will have the chance of reviewing all your answers before final submission.
